Carrot Soup



Sarah from The Daily English Show shows us how to make carrot soup.

The other day I made some carrot soup.
I put four cups of water in a pot.
Then I added one carrot, half an onion, some ginger, one tablespoon of soy sauce and one tablespoon of olive oil.
I cooked it for twenty minutes.
Then I let it cool down for a few minutes and I put it in the blender.
Then I added three garlic tops and some
mochi. My Korean friends gave me this mochi. I think their family sent it to them from Korea.
I cooked it for five more minutes. Then I served it in a bowl and sprinkled some shichimi on top.
It was very tasty.

Tonight I made a dessert inspired by apple
crumble.

I grated an apple.
And cooked it in a frying pan with a bit of oil, some sugar and some cinammon.

Then I put some of the apple in a bowl and sprinkled muesli on top.

Finally I added a scoop of ice cream.

Mmm. Divine.
